I hope if you are here it means you enjoy reading historical romance as much as I love writing it. My gorgeous heroes, and heroines who can stand up for themselves, come spiced with a twist of humour and plenty of passion. Most of my books are set during the “long” Regency but I have ventured into the 1640s, AD410 and the 1780s and enjoy writing about places as far flung as India, Anatolia and Corfu. Look out for The Forbidden Jewel of India and, coming next, the reissue of two of my favourite titles in Scandal in the Regency Ballroom and the sequel to Forbidden Jewel – Tarnished Amongst the Ton.
As well as writing about the Regency I collect original prints of the period and love to research books by exploring the locations where they are set. My second non-fiction book, Walking Jane Austen’s London, is due out in July – right in the middle of the celebrations for the bi-centenary of Pride and Prejudice.
Find out what is out and upcoming on my Books page and catch up with my latest news on the News page and by signing up to my Newsletter, on the right of this page. You can share some of my Regency researches in the Et Cetera page or on my blog, Jane Austen’s London. You can follow me on Twitter at @LouiseRegency and please get in Contact to share your thoughts on my books, the website or the Regency world in general and to sign up for my Newsletter.
