The first in a new series of timeslip mysteries is out now.  The Alchemy of Love and Death introduces historical researcher Abi Shaw, the new owner of Janus House and, much to her shock, portals back to the year 1811.

The secrets that Abi becomes involved in range from the intriguing – a disappearing doctor, through the worrying – a most unsuitable marriage – to the downright dangerous.

The whole cast of the previous Welhampstead mysteries are on hand to help – or, in the case of solicitor Frank Ponsonby, distract, Abi, but when events reach their climax she finds herself in mortal peril, alone with a killer.
